Our Mission

Nolosha Dahsoon is a non-profit organization entirely founded and supported by a network of young Somalis living in Europe, America and Africa. Our focus is to help the most vulnerable people who are affected by the Somali water crisis by building freshwater wells in communities that need safe, clean drinking water.

Our project to build wells is 100% funded by Somalis both abroad and in the country. Together, we are transforming the lives of many Somalis by improving access to clean water, hygiene and sanitation in areas affected by the current water crisis in Somalia. We also work with local business partners, decision-makers to maximize our impact.

Our ultimate goal is to revive and preserve draught-affected communities and get Somalis in need access to clean water and a shot at a better future in a promising country.

We believe that every human-being has the right to water, sanitation and a safe and clean community.

We believe that you can make a positive impact in our home country, no matter where you are.

Action

We believe in serving the most vulnerable communities who are suffering the most by doing something actionable. Any action is better than no action. That is why we are doing whatever we can, where we can, with what we have. Right NOW.

Global & Local

We believe in the generosity of the Somali people, which is why our core value is building a coalition of Somalis everywhere who want to make an impact in our home country. Our mission will always be supported by Somalis, abroad and at home. Our mission will always be for Somalis suffering the most.
